First Meetings

Arrowette nocked another arrow, aiming it at the red and black clad young man standing across the rooftop. She narrowed her eyes, a curl falling out of her ponytail and into her face. With a huff, she blew it out of her eyes and watched as he raised his hands.

"Whoa Bessie, I'm not going to hurt you," he said easily, a smile on his face.

"My name is not Bessie." she replied, adjusting her aim. He nodded, and took a step forward.

"Look, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm here to help. Heard you were looking for Kronos," he said, eyes meeting hers.

"And how did you hear that?"

"I've got friends," he shrugged. "The name's Blockbuster, but you probably knew that."

"Your ego needs to be taken down a few notches," she grumbled, lowering the golden bow. "Arrowette."

"Charmed," Blockbuster smirked, taking another few steps towards her. "How can I be of service?" he said, looking down at her with an infuriating smirk. Arrowette frowned and backed away.

"Tell me everything."

"As you wish," he said, bowing slightly, smirk turning into a soft smile.
