Trent twirled his hat in his hands as Reed pulled him into the speakeasy.

"Come on, it's a good crowd!" Reed laughed winking at Remy as she waited on one of the tables. "And it's not like you haven't been here before."

"I, yeah." Trent replied, taking a seat in one of the booths with his friend, setting his fedora on the table.

"Couple of the guys from work are gonna come by," Reed began, meeting his friend's eyes. "You should think about getting another job, with your dad..." he trailed off.

"Friend looking for a job Reed?" a silky accented voice drawled from nearby. Trent's eyes shot over to look at the gold-clad woman leaning on their table, brown curls trailing down her back, bound by a simple headband.

"That he is Miss Bouchard." Reed grinned, nodding respectfully as he  leaned back in his seat. Trent squirmed under her gaze and offered her a shy smile and outstretched his hand.

"Trent Baker, ma'am."

"Call me Marcie, Mr. Baker. Any relation to Aiden Baker?" the brunette asked eying the two men.

"He was my father." Trent replied, casting his eyes downward. "I was hoping to find some-"

"Answers?" she finished, pulling up a chair. "He worked for the Amorettis, and another gang family as well. That family is responsible for his...demise."

Trent nodded, eyes concentrated on his fingers as he twirled his father's pocket-watch between his fingers. Marcie watched curiously before resting a hand on his shoulder.

"You a mechanic, like him?" she asked. Trent nodded. "I could talk to Mason, see if there's a position in any of the garages. Jake Mason, good guy." she mused.

"He's my cousin," Trent said, surprise lacing his voice. "Didn't know he was in this um, line of business."

"There's a lot you don't know sweetheart," Marcie said sympathetically, standing up as a woman in a teal dress and waist-length black hair bounded over. Curiously, she had a streak of blonde in the front of her hair.

"Marce, honey, we've got to go meet with the shippers! Jackson's waiting, and Jeanie says she isn't getting any younger." the woman pouted, waving to Reed from behind Marcie's back.

"I'll have you talk to Mason then, and he'll get you to Miss Corleone." Marcie said, shaking Trent's hand. "Good luck."

"See ya around doll!" Reed laughed, as Remy brought them their drinks, rolling her eyes and kissing his cheek.

"Nice to meet you Miss Bouchard." Trent called, waving awkwardly as the black-haired woman pulled Marcie into the crowd.

"Call me Marcie!"
