"My dear, this is unorthodox, but I am open to anything." the Joker said placidly, though a lecherous grin passed over his painted face. He rocked back on the chair, his arms bound by a straightjacket, and then secured to the chair by straps. His legs were held to the legs of the chair by straps as well. The Batman glowered and strolled in front of him.

"I'm not implying anything Joker. This is business only." she said softly, cape swishing as she moved silently as a shadow.

"Of course you only come for business," the villain sighed, putting the legs of the chair back on the ground. "No one ever comes to visit me because they miss me." he lamented, a sad gleam in his eyes. The Batman convinced herself he was only acting, but there was something genuine in his expression.

"No more games Joker, I need you to tell me how to stop the Scarecrow. You'll get rewarded for helping me, I'll make sure of it." she wheedled, stopping her pacing to look at him sadly through her cowl.

"And what could I possibly want from you?" he replied, craning his neck backwards with a small smile, a green eyebrow raised.

"I can see to it that you'll get a bigger cell, better meals." she wheedled, her blue eyes meeting his through her cowl.

"I don't need those," the Joker said idly, blinking at her. "I want freedom."

"That I can't do. Arkham is where you belong." Batman said sternly, withdrawing from him slightly. "You could have been a great man," she murmured, looking at him out of the corner of her eye. "What could have driven you to become this?"

"A story I won't be divulging." he shot out angrily, his composure breaking slightly. "Batwoman, my darling, if you'd be so kind to release me, I will help you, for nothing in exchange."

"Batman," she corrected, glaring at him, "And what's making you change your mind?"

"I shall call you Batwoman, since you are a lady, and you have far too many curves to be called a man of any kind." he said cheekily, mad blue eyes meeting hers. "And I can sense a storm brewing. I won't be here much longer anyway."

"Fine." the vigilante decided, biting her lip a moment, before releasing the man. He hopped up out of the chair, stretched a moment, and soon had her pinned to the wall, his arms still bound in the straightjacket.

"Batwoman, the key to the Scarecrow's demise is right under your nose." he whispered, his snow-white face close to hers, blue eyes focused on her lips. "You have your information." the Joker murmured, before turning on his heel and stalking to the other side of the room, leaving the crime fighter angry, betrayed, and most of all; conflicted.
okay so in a really weird way i ship JokerxBatman
whut
but only the TravisxGloria version ahaha so don't think i'm that weird

also Scarecrow's probably gonna be like...someone who uses fear as a motive. i haven't decided, but probably an Ares kid, or even Leo. i haven't decided.

but yes, the point of this was mostly to practice angsty writing.
